Rebecca Black where are you?
Do you remember Rebecca Black? No, why would you? She was famous for about five minutes because she released a song through YouTube that everyone watched but no one actually liked. She was a teenager when the track “Friday” came out in 2011 so let’s not knock the girl too much, although the news that her mom paid out $4,000 to a producer to make the record is alarming if you’ve had the guts to press play and listen to the noise.
Although “Friday” was called “the worst song ever” by just about everyone who’s ever heard it, the song went viral and made Black a tonne of cash. Is it really “the worst 3 and a half minutes of your life” as one reviewer called it? Maybe. We’re not brave enough to press play given the poor reviews.
Ok, so that’s what she’s done in the past, what’s she been up to recently?
