These 7 sibling stories are brilliant in that the chances of these things happening to them seem nearly impossible. Given that our planet is currently home to roughly 7.4 billion people though, maybe the chances aren't quite as slim as what we might expect. Take for instance the story of the twin brothers Jim and Jim.
It wasn't until 1979 when 39-year old Jim Edward Lewis met 39-year old Jim Arthur Springer. It wasn't the fact that they were both named Jim and were the same age that makes this story interesting though. It turns out that they were actually twins who were given up for adoption and lived 60km away from each other. Their adoptive families both named their sons Jim and the brothers learned they not only weighed the same and were the same height at birth, but that academically they both struggled in both the Linguistic and Mathematical Department and both had a dog whom they named Toy.
But the story doesn't stop there. During their adulthood, they both married women named Linda, whom they both divorced and went on to marry women who were both named Betty. The brothers ended up both naming their first child James Allen, drank the same type of beer, smoked the same brand of cigars, habitually bit their nails and had reoccurring migraines.
The similarities continue on into even their hobbies. Both enjoyed carpentry work and had workshops in their basement, had circular white benches around a tree outside, drove the same Chevrolet car and worked at a Sheriff's office in their respective counties in Ohio. During a personality test, they ended up having identical answers in over 100 questions.
