It’s on. We can’t believe that this fight will finally happen. What began as a jokey answer on a TV interview and then spun into a publicity stunt by UFC President Dana White will turn into a fight on August 26, and we can’t wait to see it. Floyd Mayweather might have been out of the fight game since September 2015 but that doesn’t mean he’s out of shape. He won’t want to lose to a guy who loves to praise himself as much as Conor McGregor does.
As you’d expect from such a high profile fight, it’ll take place at Las Vegas under normal boxing regulations, even though McGregor has no experience of boxing at a professional level, and it will be contested at 154lbs.
