You might not remember drinking tequila when you wake up the next morning but believe us when we say that there are definitely things you did wrong during your latest drinks session. If tequila is involved, there’s a rigmarole of actions and additional ingredients needed to make the experience as memorable (or not) as possible.
According to an interview with miami.com, Bertha González Nieves, co-founder and CEO of Tequila Casa Dragones, there are rules to drinking tequila. Her first piece of advice is pretty sound: “Like champagnes, scotch and wines such as Bordeaux, Tequila has an appellation of origin. Check the label to be sure your tequila is made in Mexico. If it’s not, then it’s not real tequila.”
