According to the Society of General Microbiology, if bacteria have a thriving environment they can divide every 20 minutes. So how do we contain the bacteria and germs from spreading all over the house? First it is important to remember that there are many factors that contribute to how quickly bacteria spreads such as the types of surfaces around and living habits and regular cleaning procedures of the household. Types of germs that are commonly spread include staphylococcus aureus (staph), yeast and told, salmonella, Escherichia Coli (E. Coli) and fecal matter.
Home Office & Living Room
Places though that bacteria and germs are often found are in the home office and the living room. Consider how many people are touching the remote controls lying around or the tablets or other electronics that are being used and shared on a daily basis. Yeast, mold and staph are commonly found in these places but there are ways to reduce the germs. Simply purchase disinfectant wipes and give everything a quick clean on a daily basis. Rather than spread those germs and getting everyone sick, give a quick wipe and avoid the future coughs and sneezes.
