Millions of tonnes end up in sea
In the UK, we use 10 million plastic bottles a day. OK, most of them can be recycled but the caps of them currently can’t be and using so much plastic contributes to pollution. Can you believe that 8 million tonnes of plastic ends up in the sea each year? That’s lethal to plant and sea life across the world which is why using less plastic makes sense. Using less plastic means less waste and if we can reuse rather than recycle, there will be even more efficiencies.
