Bloomberg Global Health recently did a study which examined 163 countries from around the world and compared them to see which ones had the healthiest lifestyle. Not only did they look into diets but all considered their life expectancy, causes of death, health risks and general overall lifestyle. While we live in a stressful world it is easy to turn to food which in turn will make us more distressed about our weight leading to a vicious cycle for some. Here is a look though at 6 countries that made the top of the list and what they are doing that bumped them up so high in the ranking.
There is nothing like going to Spain and enjoying a bit of tapas and wine. It seems to going well for them so maybe we should all bring in a bit more of this into our lives. Their healthy lifestyle is partially due to their use of fresh vegetables, lean meat, olive oil and less fast food in their diet. The red wine definitely doesn't hinder when drank in moderation and perhaps the siestas aren't too bad either.
