The photo sharing app, Instagram, started back in 2010 and now has over 700 million users. It is popular for those that want to share anything from what they are eating to what they are wearing. Some models use it as a way to gain popularity, but three recent models have unintentionally taken Instagram by storm.
While online, 26-year old Swiss photographer Vinicius Terranova came across a video of twins Lara and Mara, who have a rare beauty. The 12-year olds have albinism which is a genetic disorder that gives them whitish hair and light eyes due to a lack of melanin production. This disorder affects roughly 1 in 17,000 people. Terranova requested to take their photos and the rest is history. "I came across the models in a video. They are incredibly beautiful and talented and that's why I wanted to work with them. They are self-confident, intelligent and work very well.” He posted photos of them on Instagram whose users immediately fell in love with them.
