Overspending on food?
We all know the basic mistakes that make us overspend on food like buying more fresh food than we can eat before it goes off, or buying the same product when an equivalent is on a special offer that would save us cash but not spoil the taste of our favourite dishes. Aside from those elementary mistakes, what else happens that makes us overspend on food?
Not knowing the price of stuff you buy on a regular basis will end up costing you money. Try to memorise the price of the basics you buy each week. Most are pretty easy to remember because bread, butter and milk are all around £1 each. Knowing the price of these goods will help you avoid fake sales bargains when the ticket in the supermarket suggests a reduction but the deduction isn’t as massive or worthwhile as the label suggests.
