Rollercoasters most definitely aren't for everyone. Many people in fact would probably prefer to keep their feet on the ground rather than dangling from the sky. But for those of us that love the thrill of feeling like our stomachs are in our throats, these rides are a must visit. Plus, it's a great way to spend your summer trips away from technology and fully living in the present. There's nothing like free falling with your hands raised high in the air to make you feel alive again.
6. Kingda Ka, Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey, USA
New Jersey is home to the world's tallest coaster, the second fastest rollercoaster and the second strata coaster that was ever built. If that isn't impressive enough, it has the longest vertical drop which takes your 418 feet straight down and the ride can reach the top speed of 206km/h in less than a mere 3.5 seconds! This is the second fastest speed that has ever been attained on any coaster in the world.
