In the western part of Uzbekistan lies the city of Mo’ynoq. For anyone that may happen to be passing through this ghost town, it may seem unimpressive until you lay eyes on the numerous rusting ships that are scattered in the sand. One quickly wonders how these powerful and heavy ships ended up in the middle of the desert miles from any body of water. It is a photographers dream with the strong contrast between land and sea, and an environmentalists nightmare once they learn about the history of this unique city.
